Smart Car Alert!!
So here it is Saturday morning after the first week of school and I slept like 13 hours last night. That's what happens when you have two margaritas at before 6:30 pm and then NiQuil before bed. It's about 11:00 am and my phone rings. I don't know the number and think it is either another political recording call or someone else I don't want to talk to but I answer anyway, and it is my Smart Car Rep. YEAH!!
Her name is Jessica and she said my car will be here in two to four weeks. The boat is expected in the next week and it will be on that one, it could be on the one already here. The one the is already here is delivering cars within a week. That could be me! Otherwise, my car is on the next boat. She is going to call me when it gets to Long Beach, so I guess that is where the boats are docking.
Smart Cars are made in France, just in case you have not been following this saga or I didn't mention it in any earlier blogs.
Two weeks from now is August 23, and four weeks is September 6. If things go my way I will have my car before Labour Day Weekend and can go on a road trip. Now I have to clean out the garage to make sure it fits--that should be no problem.
