So, I did my best to waste some time. It did not drag out as nearly as bad as I thought it would. So, Ross and I head down to the dealership and there it was--so damn cute too. There were quite a few Smart Cars there waiting for their owners to be to come get them. They had some custom paint jobs; a pink, a purple and a really cool copper color. 

It was so easy. They took my Mustang no problem for a decent trade and showed me my car. Then I had to wait for the finance person. They share finance with the Mercedes dealership they are part of. The finance lady was great. The finance lady was so funny, she loves working with the Smart buyers because they are so happy and don't whine about prices and such. 

So after paying my money I got the low down on how everything works on the car and away we went. And did we ever 'went'--we drove east from the dealership to Joe's Farm Grill for lunch. After lunch we went way west to a mall to check out a store, on the way a guy in a huge SUV thing got beside us on the freeway gesturing if it was okay and fun. We gestured back it was :-) 

On the way back from the mall a lady drove by us, basically followed us to check out the car then did a u-turn. She went out of her way just to check out the car. At a light we had a lady smiling at us and I think the little kid in the back seat laughing at the car. 

Oh, it has the biggest key ever. The key fob--ya know the bit with the buttons to unlock the door and such--is part of the key. I swear they made up for the car's size in the key. And the key is not cut like a normal key it has a groove cut into each side. 

It is so fun to drive. It does not have the same get up and go as the Mustang but it is a sporty little thing. And it is parked in the garage--yeah! I am so glad to have a car that fits. I can't wait to drive it to school on Monday. Shoot, I can't wait to drive it somewhere tomorrow :-)
