Comicon 2011: Henchwomen

Saturday we had one of the highlights of this years Comicon, seeing Spock himself, actor Leonard Nimoy. Leonard did a great hour long lecture on his life (including photos) from where he grew up, to different shows/plays/movies that he had worked on over the course of his career, to the real creative process behind such Trekkie favorites as the Vulcan Nerve Pinch and Vulcan Salute.
Saturday we saw Bruce Boxleitner, star of Tron, Scarecrow & Mrs King, Babylon 5 and many other tv shows over the last 4 decades. Bruce was fun & very entertaining, but we were all saddened to hear that his Babylon 5 co-star Jeff Conway had died just the day before.
Appearing again at Comicon this year was Wil Wheaton, reading excerpts from his old book Memories of the Future vol 1, and from his in-progress new book Memories of the Future vol 2. We also got a reading from Wil's contribution to Clash of the Geeks, finally revealing the true story behind the Unicorn Pegasus Kitten!
Somebody spent a lot of time building Lego town, but the cephalopods are determined to destroy it :-)
