Picked up a Sennheiser e609 mic earlier today after reading a few reviews of them a while back. Tried it out by recording a quick 15 second loop with 3 guitar tracks. Hard left is a mellow Strat picking thing, hard right is a crunchier Strat playing chords, and center is an SG lead line.  What blows me away is how well the multiple guitar tracks blend (without me doing anything in the mix but setting volume levels) while each track still sounds clear and distinct.
